The name sake of Project: BART was a military working dog to the highest degree. Alongside his handler, Master-at-Arms Petty Officer First Class John Douangdara, BART was killed on August 6, 2011 while serving his country. Fifty percent of the net proceeds will be donated by Project: BART to the Navy SEAL Foundation to aid the families of fallen soldiers.
